Howard County Recreation & Parks, in partnership with Silver Knights Chess, presents a non-elimination chess tournament for grades K-12. All players will get to play four games, 30 minutes per player. There’s a trophy for the top player in each age group, and a free game analysis will be offered by National Chess Master Adam Weissbarth. Show the Chess Master your games or challenge him to a game between rounds!

There are 3 sections: K-12, K-8, and K-5.

Advance registration is $20. On-site registration from 1-1:30pm is $30. Players registering after 1:30 can still play but will miss the first round. Round 1 starts promptly at 2pm. Subsequent rounds will start ASAP but no later than 3pm, 4pm and 5pm.
